【第67回破体展開催のお知らせ（横浜駅徒歩3分）】

現代破体書の世界 

― 第67回 破体展 ― 

 2026年6月25日より、かながわ県民センターにて、第67回破体展を開催いたします。

 「破体（はたい）」とは、複数の書体を融合し、ひとつの作品として完成させる究極の書芸術です。 現代破体書道の礎を築いた 松本筑峯 の作品をはじめ、その精神を受け継ぐ 松本書道会 の破体作家たちによる作品を多数展示いたします。 

また、河野重陽、そして 游高 の作品も、それぞれ2点出品しております。 

さらに、本展出品作品の一部は、2026年9月より District Museum in Toruń（ポーランド・トルン）にて開催される国際巡回展「HATAI EXHIBITION」への出品も決定しております。 

併設では、松本子游追悼展も開催。

 百人一首の書作品とともに、その優美な世界もご覧いただけます。 

写真や印刷では伝わりきらない、筆勢、墨色、余白、そして作品が放つ気。

世界が注目する書芸術「破体」の“いま”を、ぜひ横浜の地でご体感ください。

【The 67th HATAI Exhibition | Just 3 Minutes from Yokohama Station, Kanagawa, JAPAN】 

 From calligraphy you read, to calligraphy you feel.

Experience the world of contemporary Japanese HATAI calligraphy. 

From June 25, 2026, the 67th HATAI Exhibition will be held at Kanagawa Kenmin Center in Yokohama. HATAI is a unique form of Japanese calligraphy art that fuses multiple traditional script styles into a single work of art. 

 This exhibition features a work by Chikuho Matsumoto, the pioneer who established modern HATAI calligraphy, as well as works by leading artists from Matsumoto Calligraphy Association, one of Japan’s most distinguished calligraphy schools. 

Featured artists also include Choyo Kawano and Yukoh, each presenting two original works. 

 In addition, selected works from this exhibition have been chosen for the international touring exhibition "HATAI EXHIBITION," scheduled for September 2026 at District Museum in Toruń, Poland. A memorial exhibition honoring Shiyu Matsumoto will also be held, featuring elegant works inspired by classical Japanese poetry. Brush movement. Ink expression. The beauty of silence and space. Some things can never be fully experienced through photos or print. Come and experience the living spirit of Japanese calligraphy art in Yokohama.
