このたびの展覧会には多くの皆様にご来場いただき、盛会のうちに無事終了いたしました。

心より御礼申し上げます。

JR有楽町駅前の東京交通会館の地下会場という特性もあり、ふらりとお立ち寄りいただいた方々が、破体の世界に深く魅了される姿が印象的でした。

「上品でありながら、自由で伸びやかな表現に心が洗われた」

「初めて破体書を拝見しましたが、文字を超えた表現として、アートの奥行きを実感しました」

──そんな言葉を数多く頂戴し、改めて今後の破体が広がる可能性を強く実感いたしました。

現代破体書道の創始者・松本筑峯は、生前しばしば、

『書は破体しかない』

と語っていました。

その言葉は、今もなお時代に響き、破体が多様な価値観の中でも未来へと受け継がれていく芸術であることを、この展覧会で実感できました。

そして来年、さらに新たな一歩を。

『第39回筑峯破体グループ展』をシルバーウィークに開催いたします！

✨Gratitude for the 38th Chikuhō Hatai Group Exhibition✨

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us at the 38th Chikuhō Hatai Group Exhibition.

With your warm presence, the show concluded in great success.

Held in the underground gallery of the Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan, just in front of JR Yurakucho Station, the exhibition welcomed not only long-time admirers but also many who discovered Hatai for the very first time—lingering before the works, visibly captivated.

We often heard voices such as:

“Refined yet free and expansively, my heart feels cleansed.”

“This was my first encounter with Hatai calligraphy, and I felt it transcend the written word, unfolding into a profound realm of art.”

Such impressions reaffirmed the boundless possibilities of Hatai as it moves forward into the future.

Its founder, Matsumoto Chikuhō, would often say with quiet conviction:

“There is nothing but Hatai in calligraphy.”

Those words now resonate more strongly than ever in today’s diverse world, a reminder that Hatai is not only a form of expression, but a vision to be carried into the next generation.

And next year, we will take another step forward.

The 39th Chikuhō Hatai Group Exhibition will be held during Japan’s Silver Week holidays.
